For an entrepreneur it is very important to understand consumers and then have the confidence to deal with consumers. Understanding consumers will provide information about product needs and how to approach consumers, which in turn will help strengthen self-confidence for an entrepreneur. This is very important considering that often an entrepreneur must start his business by selling his products retail or directly to consumers. In a long history of successful entrepreneurs shows that the ability to develop companies and businesses started from the ability to understand consumers. You are asked to explain, what are the efforts and steps taken to understand consumers, so there is a belief that the product you are going to produce (see your proposal) is really needed by these consumers and predicted to buy it!

Bagi seorang wirausaha sangat penting untuk memahami konsumen dan kemudian memiliki kepercayaan diri untuk menghadapi konsumennya. Memahami konsumen akan memberikan informasi mengenai kebutuhan produk dan bagaimana mendekati konsumen yang pada akhirnya akan membantu memperkuat kepercayaan diri bagi seorang wirausaha. Hal ini sangat penting mengingat sering kali seorang wirausaha harus memulai usahanya dengan menjual produknya secara retail atau langsung kepada konsumen. Dalam sejarah panjang wirausaha yang sukses menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mengembangkan perusahaan dan bisnis berawal dari kemampuan memahami konsumen. Anda diminta untuk menjelaskan, apa saja upaya dan langkah-langkah yang dilakukan untuk dapat memahami konsumen, sehingga ada keyakinan bahwa produk yang akan anda produksi (lihat proposal anda) benar-benar dibutuhkan oleh konsumen tersebut dan diprediksi akan membelinya!
