Menjual produk ke konsumen korporasi memiliki perbedaan dengan menjual produk kepada konsumen retail. Perilaku korporasi tidaklah sama dengan perilaku konsumen individual. Oleh karena itu, harus dipahami bahwa perlu proses yang lebih panjang dalam mendekati konsumen perusahaan. Baik dalam proses penawaran langsung ataupun tender (pelelangan). Proses tersebut dimulai dari mempelajari konsumen, presentasi , negosiasi sampai kepada persetujuan. Penjualan yang efektif memerlukan rencana dan strategi. Langkah awal bisa berupa presentasi atau sekadar surat penawaran, namun setiap penjualan tergantung pada negosiasi. Untuk menjual produk kepada konsumen korporasi, strategi penjualan harus didasarkan pada analisa menyeluruh atas kondisi konsumen, produk, pasar, dan persaingan. biasanya konsumen korporasi cenderung memiliki loyalitas yang cukup tinggi selama produk dan jasa yang diberikan oleh seorang wirausaha memenuhi kriteria yang dtetapkan. Selain itu, jumlah pesanan dari konsumen korporasi biasanya dalam jumlah besar. Hal ini membuat posisi konsumen korporasi juga sangat menarik untuk dipertimbangkan dalam mengembangkan usaha. Jelaskan apa strategi yang dapat anda gunakan dalam memasarkan produk usaha yang anda produksi (lihat proposal anda) kepada korporasi. Sehingga produk usaha anda benar-benar mau dibeli oleh salah satu pikak korporasi!
